CAUTION:
Before
working on the winch or the
wiring in your vehicle,
disconnect the battery and
any other power sources.
CAUTION:
When
securing winch connector
leads to posts be sure to
NOT over tighten nuts as
this will damage winch and
void warranty
NOTE:
The 35 amp circuit
breaker is necessary to prevent
possible electrical damage to
either the winch or the vehicle’s
electrical system.
NOTE:
Do not connect the
black (negative ground) wire to
the vehicle chassis or bodywork.
It must lead directly to the
negative battery terminal.
NOTE:
Mount
the control box
securely, away
from moving parts
and sources of
heat.
NOTE:
Apply electrical contact
grease to all connections to
prevent corrosion
NOTE:
An actuator (below)
may be subbed instead of the
winch (shown above).
