TRICKLE CHARGING WITH SOLAR PANEL
To charge the SLXtreme 6 using the solar panel, face
the panel towards the sun or an incandescent lamp.
The 4th LED will flash when the solar panel is
charging.
For every hour of sunlight, the SLXtreme6’s power is
replenished enough to provide approximately 10
minutes of talk time. This is useful when you are
away from a power source.
Note:
Solar charge replenishment may vary
depending on a number of variables. The solar panel
trickle charges the SLXtreme case. The solar panel
will not charge the battery while the case is actively
charging the phone.
For added security, Snow Lizard recommends using
the Break-away clip and lanyard included with the
SLXtreme. A break
‐
away style lanyard is also
provided.
