BATTERY  &  CH ARG ER MAINTENANCE

CHARGING PROCEDURE

N O T E :

 The battery is not shipped fully charged.  t is recommended to fully charge before first 

u s e  t o  e n s u r e  t h a t  m a x i m u m  r u n  t i m e  c a n  b e  a c h i e v e d .  T h i s  l i t h i u m - i o n  b a t t e r y  w i l l  n o t  d e v e l o p  

a  m e m o r y  a n d  m a y  b e  c h a r g e d  a t  a n y  t i m e .

Low v oltage ch arging:

If  the battery has been stored w ith little to no charge f or a long period of  time, the charger w ill 

go into recovery mode, w hich w ill take 2 0  hrs to f ully charge the battery. This w ill enhance the 

lif e of  the battery. Once it is f ully charged, the next charge w ill return to standard charging.

• Plug the charger into an AC pow er outlet.
• Insert the battery into the charger.

This is a diagnostic charger. The Charger LED Lights  ill illuminate in specific order to 

communicate the current battery status. They are as f ollow s:

W hen the battery is inserted into the charger and the status LED blinks RED, remove the 

battery f rom the charger f or 1  minute, then reinsert. If  the status LED blinks G REEN, then the 

battery is properly charging. If  the status LED is still blinking RED, remove the battery and 

unplug the charger f or 1  minute.
Af ter 1  minute, plug in the charger and reinsert the battery. If  the status LED blinks G REEN, 

then the battery is properly charging. If  the status LED is still blinking RED, the battery is 

def ective and needs to be replaced.
