Remove and discard the old scraper.
■ Install the new scraper and fasten
it securely with 5 screws previously
removed.
REPLACE THE AUGER
(See Figure 13)
WARNING
Use only approved replacement scrap-
ers.
■
a. Remove the 5 screws (25) and side
wear pad (27) that secure the right side
cover (34).
■
b. Remove the nut (28) from the right
end of the axle (35).
■
c. Remove the 5 screws (25) that secure
the left side cover (36).
■
d. Remove the belt (29).
■
e. Lock auger (7) in place so it cannot
spin.
■
f. Using a socket wrench, turning
clockwise remove the large pulley nut
(28) and pulley (30).
■
g. Remove the 5 screws (25) that secure
the left side cover (36).
■
h. Remove the spacer (38) and wave
washer (39) from both sides of the axle
(35).
■
i. Remove the axle (35), which will come
out the left side of the unit, and remove
the old auger (7) from the front.
■ j. Install the new auger (7) and replace
the axle (35) with corresponding nut
(28).
■
k. Reinstall the right side cover (34) with
the 5 screws (25).
■
l. Reinstall the left side plate (37) with
the 5 screws (25), large pulley (30) with
the left side nut (28), belt (29), and left
side cover (36) with the 5 screws (25).
STORE THE MACHINE
■
Clean the machine before storage.
■
Make sure the motor is not hot when you
store the machine.
■
Make sure that the machine does not
have loose or damaged parts. If it is
necessary, do these steps/ instructions:
• Replace the damaged parts.
• Tighten the bolts.
• Speak to a person at an approved
service center.
■
Store the machine in a dry area.
■
Make sure that children cannot come
near the machine.
