4 Cleaning and maintenance
4.1 Instructions
4.2 Cleaning the appliance
• Clean the appliance at least once a
month.
• Unplug the appliance from the power
socket.
• Remove all food from the appliance.
• Clean the appliance thoroughly using a
soft cloth moistened with warm water.
• In case of stubborn stains, use washing
up liquid diluted in lukewarm water.
• Thoroughly clean the door seal.
• Dry any drops from the surfaces that
have been washed.
• Replace the parts that were removed for
cleaning.
• Inspect and clean the plug, cable and
electrical outlet with a dry cloth.
Improper use
Risk of damage to surfaces
• Do not use steam jets to clean the
appliance.
• Do not use cleaning products containing
chlorine, ammonia or bleach on steel
parts or parts with metallic finishes on the
surface (e.g. anodizing, nickel- or
chromium-plating).
• Do not use abrasive or corrosive
detergents (e.g. scouring powders, stain
removers and metallic sponges) on
glass parts.
• Do not use powder detergents, waxes,
oil, boiling water, brushes, acid
substances, petrol, solvents, alcohol and
alkaline detergents on the internal parts
and on the surfaces of the appliance.
• Do not use rough or abrasive materials
or sharp metal scrapers.

• Disconnect power to the appliance
before cleaning it.
• Do not pull the cable to remove the
plug.
• Do not spray water onto the doors and
the exterior of the appliance.
Clean stains as soon as they
appear.
Clean any stains produced by
edible oils immediately. The plastic
parts may crack.
Clean the less visible parts of the
refrigerator once a year.
If the plug is disconnected and
immediately reconnected, the
compressor will not restart for at
least 10 minutes. However, if the
inside of the refrigerator is not
cold, the compressor will restart
after approximately 30 seconds.
