5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR
COMMISSIONING
5.1. UNPACKING AND LIST OF MATERIALS
This machine includes the following items that you will
find inside the box:
• Scissors.
• Battery
• Charger.
• Manual.
5.2. BATTERY CHARGE
The supply voltage and current must comply with the
indications on the nameplate of the charger.
Before using the battery for the first time, charge it for
at least 1 hour.
To charge the battery,
plug the charger into
the mains and place
the battery in the
charger, the red LED
will illuminate. When the
battery is fully charged,
the red LED will turn off
and the green LED will
turn on. When the battery
is charged, remove it
from the charger. If you
leave the battery in the
charger and it is charged,
the charger will turn off
automatically after 2 hours, continuing the green LED.
The charging time of a battery that is fully discharged
is 3-5 hours.
If you insert the battery into the charger and the red
and green LEDs begin to flash it will mean that your
battery is broken or that battery does not correspond
to this charger.
Recharge the battery when you notice that the power
of your machine decreases. Avoid using the machine
until the battery is completely discharged. To check
the status of your battery, press the black button and
the green LED will light indicating your battery charge
Notes:
- The battery will require 2 or 3 full cycles of charge
discharge until its maximum energy storage
capacity is achieved.
- This battery has no memory effect, so it is
not necessary to discharge it completely before
recharging.
- If you are not going to use the battery for a long
period of time, charge it to the fullest, store it in an
appropriate place and recharge it every 30 days.
Follow the tips to ensure that your battery’s charge
capacity is maintained for as long as possible:
- Avoid completely discharging the battery. The
battery life will be longer if you recharge the
battery when you notice that the power of
your machine decreases and do not let it run out
completely.
- Always recharge the battery after using the
machine. Do not store the discharged or
half-charged battery.
- Always recharge the battery inside your home
and garage to preserve the battery and charger
from moisture and inclement weather.
- Recharge the battery at temperatures between
5º C and 40º C.
- Keep the battery always away from water, wet
areas, sources of heat and chemicals.
