WARRANTY
Smartwatcher provides a warranty in accordance with national laws
governing the sale of consumer goods and warrants that the watch
under normal use during the warranty period is free from defects in
materials and workmanship.
1.
The warranty lasts and is provided in accordance with the respective
local laws, as standard for a period of twenty-four (24) months for
the watch unit and six (6) months for the rechargeable battery and
charger from the original date of purchase of the product, and is
only applicable if you have purchased the watch from an official
dealership in a member state of European Union, Iceland, Norway,
Liechtenstein or Switzerland.
2.
During the warranty period Smartwatcher or its authorized service
network will repair or replace, at Smartwatcher’s discretion, the
watch or any relevant part thereof in the event that the product is
found to be defective. Repair or replacement may involve use of a
functionally equivalent reconditioned unit or materials. All replaced
defective parts shall become the property of Smartwatcher.
3.
Unless contrary to the respective local law, the warranty in respect of
a repaired or replaced product or part shall extend for the remaining
warranty period of the repaired or replaced product or part.
4.
The consumer may be asked to provide the original proof of
purchase with information on the date and place of purchase
and the original packaging. If this information is not provided,
incomplete or intentionally made illegible, Smartwatcher reserves
the right to refuse warranty service.
5.
The warranty does NOT cover damage resulting from one or more
of the following causes:
a)
Normal wear and tear of the watch or parts thereof.
