20.  Do NOT leave the SMART Breakfast Master unattended when in use.
21.  Do NOT place the appliance near a hot gas or electric burner.

22.  Care must be taken when handling the appliance after use. Do NOT touch hot 

surfaces, and always allow the unit to cool before storing or covering.

” means: Caution, hot surface. The surfaces are liable to get hot 

during use.

24.  The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. 
25.  Allow adequate space above and around the appliance for air circulation. 
26.  Do NOT allow the appliance to touch curtains, wall coverings, clothing, or other 

flammable materials during use.

27.  Do NOT wrap the cord around the outside of the SMART Breakfast Master. Use the 

cord storage cleats at the bottom of the unit.

28.  Remove bread crumbs periodically. Accumulation of bread crumbs can cause a 

potential electrical hazard. 

29.  Do NOT cover the appliance whilst in use. If it is covered there is a risk of fire.
30.  Switch OFF the appliance before detaching any parts from the SMART Breakfast 

Master. 

31.  Thoroughly clean all parts that come in contact with food with hot soapy water and dry 

thoroughly before using for the first time. 

32.  Improper installation may result in the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury to 

persons

33.  The manufacturer is not responsible for any eventual damages caused by improper or 

faulty use. 

34.  The unit has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair, 

disassemble or modify the appliance. 

35.  This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced 

physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless 

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a 

person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do 

not play with the appliance.

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE

Remove all parts from packaging and thoroughly read through the manual before using for 

the first time. Ensure all parts indicated in the above parts list have been included in the gift 

box. Wash all parts, attachments and accessories in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. 

Wipe the exterior of the toaster and Crumb Tray with a slightly damp cloth. Operate the 

toaster function 3 to 4 times (without bread) and set to the maximum browning level to 7. 
It is numbered from 1 to 7; 

1- being lightly toasted 

7- being a darker toast.
NOTE: During initial use, the Toaster may emit a slight odour along with small amounts of 

smoke. This is normal and will subside with further use.
