system repaired at an authorized electric
drive smart center, if there is a fault in the
brake system.

Switching off the drive system

WARNING
Do not turn off the drive system before the
vehicle has come to a complete stop. With
the drive system not running, there is no
power assistance for the brake and steering
systems. In this case, it is important to
keep in mind that a considerably higher
degree of effort is necessary to brake and
steer the vehicle.
