If you have performed any unwanted changes or not sure about configuration settings,
restore the default values.
To restore default values:
1. Press <F2> on the key to return to setup.
2. Press <F9> to restore the system defaults.
Or
1. Press <F2> to return to the BIOS setup.
2. Go to the Exit menu and select Load Setup Defaults .
The default BIOS values are loaded and the values affect all setup items and also the
previously altered options are reset.
5.2.1 Menu Bar
The next table provides information about the BIOS Setup screen menu bar options.
5.2.2 Legend Bar
The keys listed in the legend bar, shown in the Figure 5-1 screen are used to make
selections on-screen or to leave the current menu. The legend keys and their alternate
options are explained in
Table 5-2 . All submenus are indicated by the right-bracket symbol
( > ).
NOTICE
The default values set become effective only after saving and exiting the BIOS
setup. Until then, they are loaded only for display purposes.
