The diagram shows the combined even function of a typical Windy Boy power/voltage
curve. The feed-in AC power is shown here in relation to the Windy Boy's DC input
voltage. The adjustable parameters U

WindMax and Pmax can be used to adapt the power/voltage curve of
the Windy Boy to the wind turbine being used.
In order to guarantee optimal operation of your Windy Boy in conjunction with your
wind turbine, specific parameters must be adjusted to achieve optimum yields.
The Windy Boy also has a smooth startup parameter <P-Wind-Ramp>, which, when
activated, protects the mechanical components of your wind turbine system, and thus
contributes to a long service life for your system.
Additional adjustments are possible by means of optimizing the Windy Boy's maximum
output according to the turbine used, adjusting the control speed and setting activation
and deactivation times (<T-Stop>, <T-Start>).
The description of the Windy Boy's operating parameters and the definition of the range
of possible settings (factory settings) can be found in section 10.1.2 "Windy Boy
Operating Parameters" (Page 57).
An example alteration of operating parameters is described in section 6.4 "General
Example Settings" (Page 35).
To perform the configuration process, the DC input voltage must be greater than
<UpvStart> and the Windy Boy must be connected to the grid voltage.
