Sandpaper
1.
Gather materials:
Sandpaper, Weld-On
#16, Humiseal 1B73 conformal coat (for
sealing edge of LED board), and acrylic
(field) end-cap.
NOTE:
All material shown is included
in field end cap kit.

Prepare LEDStripe for cutting:
Grip LEDStripe with mounting bracket pointing upwards and
gently pull right female connector to seat circuit board to right edge of tube.
Cut marks
3.
Cut LEDStripe:
All LEDStripe lengths can
be cut in the field in 3" (75 mm) increments
on cut marks. Looking through extrusion,
black cut mark lines on LED board can
be seen on back of mounting track by
illuminating a section of LEDStripe. Measure
length from male connector end to cut mark
nearest required length. Use a power miter
saw to ensure a straight 90° cut. Use a sharp
blade to ensure a smooth clean cut.
5.
Deburr and clean LED board:
Gently pull LED board out of tube about
0.25" (6 mm). Deburr cut-end of LED
board with sandpaper provided.
Remove any dust and debris.

Field Cuts
4.
Deburr and clean extrusion:
Ensure end
of extrusion is deburred and clean of any
foreign material. Use sandpaper provided
if needed.
