High Pressure
Proximal pressure exceeds 15.5

Non-latching HIGH priority alarm.

Type: TECHNICAL
Cuts fresh gas flow and
evacuates pressure from
the circuit. 1.5 l/min bypass
flow is delivered, to flush
CO
2
build up. Device will
restart after 5 seconds.
Check Patient, check
patient circuit. Adjust
ventilation parameters.
If alarm repeats after the
above checks remove
patient to an alternative
form of ventilation. Remove
the unit from service.
Apnoea
Breath not detected within the user
set apnoea period.
Non-latching HIGH priority alarm.
Is reset by a patient breath.
Priority: HIGH
Type: PATIENT
Triggers a stimulation
breath of 3 mbar above set
CPAP for 0.3 seconds (only
pressure mode).
User has option for
disabling the apnoea
monitoring function (value
shows ‘--’).
Check Patient, check
patient circuit. Adjust
ventilation parameters.
