10.6 Trained professionals / AC wiring

Up the grid inverter, the storm control and other equipment ac-
cording to this manual. Document every setting!
Always install a storm protection that will stop the wind generator
immediately when 45 V DC (70 kph wind speed) are reached! Inform
the customer that the manual ON/OFF may not be used more than
once per hour. A very gusty site may require to shut the turbine off
earlier.
Make yourself familiar with the regulation in your country and for
your site. A trained professional will always install the system in ac-
cordance to regulation and legislation.
Use a proper fuse, wire diameter and protection for the wind turbines
AC supply. Install additional equipment if required by national stan-
dards.
ALWAYS CONTRACT TRAINED PROFESSIONALS FOR ANY KIND OF
WORK ON THE SYSTEM! DOCUMENT THE SET

Take care of the level of protection of different parts. Electronic parts
may not be installed outside and only in non

condensating humidity.

1 some of the highest standards in the world. Should a specific country
require separate national standards, a separate protection device as requested by the specific
grid provider may be required. This is the same for most Photovoltaic

generators or other
equipment. Your trained professional will perform the AC connection in compliance with the
national standards.
Trained professionals in the sense of this manual is any person qualified and competent to work
with the equipment as well as instructed in all the necessary safety procedures:

State certified technician/electrician with the allowance to install electrical appliances /
machines according to national standards and VDE standards;
•
Including knowledge of accident prevention;
•
Experience with this kind of equipment/technology, its set
-
up, its installation and the
relevant manuals etc..
When installing the equipment a trained professional will follow all the instructions in this ma-
nual as well as the manuals of other equipment used, perform his work with regards to the ne-
cessary safety precautions and follow national standards. The professional installer is aware
that he must ground himself before working on the system. Any installation work as well as
changes on the system or maintenance must always be performed by trained professionals.
Every person handling this system in normal operation must be aware, have read and under-
stood of this manual.
