First Steps (3 years)

For young players, keep games simple. Teach your
child the name of a color and the corresponding

color block ,next ask them to bounce or step on the

correct color as you call it out .You can also ask your

child  to say the color when they bounce on the color

block. For yound toddlers the act of just bouncing or

stpping may be enough of a challenge in the begin-

ing. Take it show, their skills will develop quickly.

Listening/Concentration Skills (3-7 years)

Ask your child to work on listening skills while you call out a list of color names

that they must remember and then jump on in a row .For example, Call out:

Blue,Red,Green,Yellow.Provide your child a chance to bounce on the pictures in the exact order you have established. A Color

Legend. Try it from top to bottom,or bottom to top.The winner is the one who can follow instruction without error,or can jump on

the most colors correctly in sequence.

Social Interaction/Physical Activity (4-7 years)

With 2 or more players, allow each player to take turns listening to instructions called out by an adult. or another child .Increase the
challenge of the Listening Game by adding more instructions. For example, call out:  Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Red, Blue .... see if
your youngster can bounce on the corresponding color and call out the color while bouncing . The winner is the first person to

Listen

and Bounce

correctly during his or her turn. Players must wait their turn, only one child on the Trampoline at a time. Add another

level of physical intensity when you Bounce for time by recording actal time for each player.

  -

Associations Skills (4-7 years)

To increase the difficulty level try developing an Association Game that asks your child to match an animal with information that they
have learned. For example: What color is the grass ? What color is an apple? A banana is what color ?What is your favorite color ?
What letter starts with a “B”?

Playing Pretend (3-

Kids can also boost gross motor skills when they use their bodies to become birds in flight, bouncing puppies or silly cats – whatever
their imagination conceives. Let your child make  up a game to play by themselves or with others.

 (3-7 years)
