The CAYENNE3 has won over a large number of pilots by the sum of its performance
features and led to many extraordinary achievements. With its long list of successes,
the CAYENNE3 also proved that comfort is a deciding factor of whether the perform-
ance of a glider can be flown or not.
We have taken this recipe for success to heart and set the goal of increasing the flya-
ble performance of the CAYENNE4 in every respect. With the CAYENNE4, we have con-
structed a wing that impresses through extraordinary glide, precise, fatigue-free han-
dling and high passive safety.
Your new CAYENNE4 is a glider of the newest generation, in which everything technical-
ly feasible has been implemented – not just a pure-bred 3-liner, it has only 2 main lines
per side and line level. The new connection system with four cell bridge segments be-
tween both main lines saves 20% in line drag in comparison with its predecessor, the
CAYENNE3.
Naturally, we could not do without JET FLAPS, standard in all of our other glider mod-
els. The use of JET FLAPS is becoming even more crucial in order to guarantee pilot
safety with a high aspect ratio.
The CAYENNE4 has been developed for ambitious xc- and competitive pilots, those
trading up from the high end EN/LTF B into the EN/LTF C class, and ambitious thermal-
and hobby pilots as well.
