OHRHÖRER
Sie können einen Stereokopfhörer an den Detektor anschließen. Hierdurch
sparen Sie Batterie und Sie können Tonhöhenänderungen besser
wahrnehmen. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich eine 3,5mm Klinkenbuchse
für einen Kopf-/Ohrhörer (EAR).
Der eingebaute Lautsprecher ist abgeschaltet, sobald ein Ohrhörer in diese
Buchse gesteckt wird.
Schützen Sie Ihr Gehör!
Drehen Sie den Lautstärkeregler nach dem Einschalten nicht sofort ganz
nach rechts, sondern horchen Sie erst einen Moment und stellen Sie
danach die gewünschte Lautstärke ein. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke nicht zu
hoch ein. Dies kann zu permanenten Gehörschäden führen.
Achten Sie auf den Straßenverkehr!
Bei Gebrauch eines Kopfhörers wird der Verkehrslärm gedämpft. Seien Sie
jedoch besonders vorsichtig in der Nähe von Strassen.
BEDIENUNG
Der SkyTronic Metalldetektor kann zwischen eisenhaltigen und nicht
eisenhaltigen Metallen unterscheiden. Nicht eisenhaltige Metalle sind zum
Beispiel Gold, Silber, Messing, Kupfer, Aluminium, Zink und Blei. Wenn der
Detektor ein Metall aufspürt, ändert sich die Nadelstellung und es tritt eine
Veränderung in der Tonhöhe auf. Der Nadelausschlag hängt von der Sorte
Metall ab, die Sie aufgespürt haben.
EINSTELLEN DES DETEKTORS
Das Gerät einschalten, indem Sie den Lautstärkeregler nach rechts drehen.
Stellen Sie die gewünschte Lautstärke ein. Stellen Sie den Schalter
OPERATE/BATT TEST auf OPERATE.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If your detector is not working as it should, follow the suggestions below to
see if you can eliminate the problem. If you cannot, take the detector to
your local SkyTronic store for assistance.
Problem Suggestions
You might be sweeping the detector’s search
coil too fast or at the wrong angle. Sweep the
search coil more slowly and hold the detector
correctly. See “Testing and Using the Detector”
on Page 6 and “Pinpointing a Target” on Page 8.
The detector displays or
sounds false signals.
The detector might sound a false signal if it
detects heavily oxidized metals. Try pinpointing
the target from several different angles (See
“pinpointing a Target” on Page 8). If the detector
does not display and sound the same signal
each time, the target is probably heavily oxidized
metal.
There might be more than one target in the area
you are searching.
The target might be a type of metal that the
detector does not recognize.
The display does not
show the correct metal
type when the detector
finds a target.
If the target is heavily oxidized, the detector
might not display the correct metal type. This is
not a malfunction.
Do not attempt to make any repairs yourself. This would invalid your warranty.
Do not make any changes to the unit. This would also invalid your warranty.
