Service and Maintenance
Adjustments or Repair
Adjustments require specialized service procedures and tools only available to
qualified service technicians – there are no user serviceable parts or adjustments.
The operator should never remove the cover or attempt to service the equipment.

Maintenance
Your SkyMate Communicator is designed to be virtually maintenance free. Your
attention to a few basic points should assure many years of service.
1. Keep the Communicator as dry as possible.
2. Clean the exterior of the Communicator with a tissue or soft non-abrasive
cloth.
NOTE
Do not use solvents or other chemicals for cleaning the equipment.
3. Inspect the case an antenna periodically for any damage.
