The country-specific accident prevention and occupational health and safety guidelines must be observed
when planning and installing anchor devices.
The minimum distance between the anchor point and the fall edge must at least be 2.5 m.
When installing single anchor points, the load-bearing capacity of the ground should be taken into account.
Compatibility with similar systems is not guaranteed and infringement can carry a risk of serious or fatal
injury.
Permanent anchor points are intended for protecting people, not objects, from falling and are not for use as
transport anchor points.
The type and number of attachment points are adapted to the anchor point. All fasteners in the set must
always be installed according to the assembly instruction.
The minimum strength class for concrete must be C20/C25.
Working above the anchor point should be avoided (see operating instructions for the fastener).
Single anchor points should only be used by trained and qualified users.
The employer or a qualified person should instruct the user on the correct use of the system.
Single anchor points should be checked and maintained each year by a qualified person.
Before each use, single anchor points and personal protective equipment against falls should be checked
for any defects. In the event of any doubt about the proper functioning of the products, these should not be
used and should be checked by a qualified person.
Damaged anchor points and/or fasteners or other parts of the PPE against falls should no longer be used.
Where applicable, the system or PPE should be checked by the manufacturer or by a qualified person.
Permanent anchor points should no longer be used after a fall from a height.
Incorrectly fastened bondings / fittings may become loose and compromise the safety of the single anchor
points!
Improper repairs, maintenance and/or manipulations of the single anchor points and of their components
represent a risk of serious or fatal injury. If this is the case, any guarantee expires and SKYLOTEC GmbH
assumes no liability.
The product may only be used with connectors (observe compliance with EN 362) and personal protective
equipment against falls from a height.
If additional personal climbing protection equipment is used, the relevant operating instructions and
applicable guidelines should be observed.

adversely affected.
The products must be installed strictly according to the assembly instructions of the manufacturer.
Deviations are not permitted. Only original SKYLOTEC parts should be used for assembly and replacement.
Combining parts or elements from other manufacturers or suppliers may constitute a danger to life and limb!
Parts must be handled with care and must not be handled improperly! A full set of identification plates must be attached
at each ascent and descent point.
For free-standing structures, the following securing devices are strictly required during assembly:
safety harnesses according to EN 361 and separate safety ropes with shock absorbers in accordance with EN
