Before First Use

Operation
The digital radio DAB 20S / DAB 21 W can either be operated
via AC/DC adaptor or batteries.
‡ Place the appliance on an even surface.
Note: Depending on the surface, it might be possible that the
appliance might leave some marks on the furniture.
‡ First, connect the AC/DC adaptor to the AC socket on the
back of the appliance and then to a properly installed and
easily accessible wall socket.
‡ Fully extend the telescopic antenna and adjust it for the
best and clearest sound.

Battery Operation (optional)
Before inserting the batteries, please make sure that the AC/
DC adaptor is neither connected to the appliance nor to the
power socket.
‡ Open the battery compartment.
‡ Insert (4 x AA, 1.5V type batteries according to their
markings (see bottom of the battery compartment). (Not
included in the scope of delivery)
‡ Close the battery compartment.
