- Stations closed or can no longer be received (In the station list, invalid
stations are indicated with a question mark “?” in front of their name).
- If reception was not good for the original scan (for example the antenna
was not up), this may result in an empty or incomplete list of available
stations.
Manual tune
As well as the normal method of scanning, you can also manually tune to
a particular channel/frequency. This function allows you to check wether
a particular station can be received in your area.
Note:
While scrolling through the DAB bands, a bar graph on the LCD
display will indicate the level of the signal strength.
Prune Invalid
Some DAB services stopped broadcasting or can no longer be received.
This function allows you to delete all inactive station from the station list.
DRC Settings
DRC (Dynamic Range Control)
Some radio stations do support Volume Control. Dynamic Range Control
can make quieter sounds easier to hear when your radio is used in a
noisy environment. This function is
only
available for the DAB.
DRC High
– Maximum compression, will “boost” the quiet sounds, whilst
keeping the loudest sounds at their original level.
DRC Low
– Medium compression, partial sound adjustment
DRC Off
– No compression
Menu Settings
You can choose from 6 different setting options :
• Time/Date
• Backlight
• Language
• Factory Reset
• Software Update
• Software version
Time/Date
•
Set Time/Date:
This allows the user to set the current Time and Date
manually.

Auto Update:
The broadcaster (radio station) provides time and date
information in DAB/FM mode automatically. You can choose “from
Any” or “No update”.
Note:
FM auto Time/Date update may not work in your area, so the DAB
auto update option is recommended.
