Assembly
Damaged cartons generally mean damaged contents. Refuse any shipment where
there is major damage to the contents or before you sign have the delivery person make
a full description of breakage or damage on both copies of the freight bill. Be sure to
uncrate your wheel as soon as possible. You have only 15 days to file a claim for con-
cealed damage. In case of concealed damage discovered during unpacking, save all
cartons and packing materials. Contact the carrier immediately and make an appoint-
ment for an inspection.
Read the inspection report and enter all pertinent information or objections before sign-
ing. You will keep one copy of this. This is not a claim. The inspector will have claim
forms for you. These must be filled out and sent to the delivery carrier within 15 days of
delivery.
We recommend you save the shipping containers in case you should ever have to re-
turn the wheel for service.
