Evaporator Fan Assembly
The evaporator fan assembly is located under the fixed bottom shelf, and is
made up of two fans, two fan guards, a terminal block and a mounting plate.
Each fan motor has a push in plug for easy removal and replacement.
To access and replace the evaporator fans

Evaporator fan assembly (bottom shelf removed)
1. Remove the front panel and isolate the chiller from the mains power supply
2. Unload and remove the fixed bottom shelf by unscrewing the two fixing
screws (one on each side) and lift from the cabinet. Place aside.
Note:
Depending on cabinet loading and shelf positioning, it may be
necessary to unload the cabinet and remove the middle shelf.
3. Remove the evaporator fan assembly from the cabinet by unscrewing the
three fixing screws across the back of the mounting plate, and flip the
assembly over to gain access to the underside of the evaporator fans.
4. Unplug the fan to be replaced, and unscrew the fan fixing screws and earth
screw to remove the fan motor from the mounting plate.
5. Replace the fan and fix in place.
Ensure the fan orientation is correct. Air is pulled down from the cabinet to
the refrigeration unit. The arrow on the fan must point down when the
evaporator fan assembly is fixed into position.
Ensure the earth screw is in place.
6. Reattach the plug.
7. Reassemble the chiller ensuring:
Both evaporator fan motors have been plugged in via the socket on the side
of the fan motors.
All three fixing screws are fitted in place along the back of the evaporator fan
assembly.
The fixed bottom shelf is fixed to the cabinet by the two fixing screws.
8. Test and check for correct operation.
