• A functional check must be performed before installing the
door trim panel.

Removing and installing the rear fixed
door window
Removing
– Remove rear door window

– Remove outer seal
⇒ “2.20 Removing and installing the outer window channel

– Mask off the protective foil from the bolt holes -2-.
– Unscrew screws -2-.
– Partly remove window run
⇒ “2.16 Removing and installing the window run”, page 117

– Slide the seal on the inside of the fixed door window below the
leg of the door frame so that the tools can be inserted on the
provided point.
– Insert the tool T30116 - 3 - between the pane and the door
frame towards the unlocking bolt (in position as shown in the
illustration).
– Detach the fixed pane -1- slightly after releasing from the door
frame.
– Insert the tool T10236 - 4 - between the pane and the door
frame towards the unlocking bolt (in position as shown in the
illustration).
– Detach the fixed pane -1- slightly after releasing from the door
frame.
– Carefully push the fixed pane out of the door frame.
Installing
– Insert the fixed pane into the door frame.
– Insert the securing bolts into the openings in the door frame
and clip in.
– Push the seal of the fixed pane over the door frame and cor‐
rectly insert the pane.
– Install screws -2- (6 Nm).
– Stick over protective foil with bolt holes -2-.
– The further work procedure occurs in the reverse order to the
removal.
Note
The securing bolts are component parts of the fixed pane. In case
of damage, the fixed pane must be completely replaced.
