1.6 Removing and installing the clutch pedal
(Fabia II 2007 ►; Roomster 2006 ►)
Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Pliers - T10005-
♦ Polycarbamide grease - G 052 142 A2-
Removing
– Remove crash strut (if present)
⇒ page 22 .
– Remove clutch pedal switch ⇒ page 19 -Pos. 7-, if provided.
– Removing the over-centre helper spring ⇒ page 24 .
– Put steering wheel in the lower position.
– Unscrew nut -A-.
– Slowly turn steering wheel in a suitable position.
– Pull screw out of the bracket.
– Remove clutch pedal.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the
following points:
– The support -A- must be located on the actuating rod -B- of
the master cylinder.
– To click in the support push the clutch pedal towards the front
wall -direction of the arrow- and make sure it catches correctly.
