Cutting method
1. Use the front left side cutting.
2. Guide the blade from your right side to left with the head slightly
tilted to your left.
3. When moving in a wide area, start working on your left hand and try
to avoid intermittent cutting.
4. When cutting at low engine speeds or in grass that is too tall, the
blade can be clogged with long stems of grass. Set the engine speed
and cutting depth according to the condition of the cutting area.
WARNING: If grass or other objects get stuck in the blade, or if the
machine starts to shake or vibrate, turn off the engine and check the
entire brush cutter. If the blade is damaged, replace it. Before checking
the blade, switch off the engine and let it stop completely. If a foreign
object is caught in the blade, remove it.
Controlling blade bounce
Blade bounce can cause serious injury. So study this section carefully.
It is essential that you understand the risk of a flying knife, how you
can reduce it and how to behave if the knife bounces.
What causes blade bounce
The blade may bounce if the moving blade touches an object that it
cannot cut. This contact will cause the blade to stop moving
immediately or bounce off the object that struck the blade. The user
may lose control of the brush cutter and the blade may cause serious
injury to him or others.
