Error

Remedy:

Light at electric motor does not work

a)

Switch on instrument light, see page 17 "

Operation – Switching the 

instrument light OFF/ON

".

b)

Halogen lamp inside the electric motor is defective, install new halogen 
lamp, see 

Operating instructions of the corresponding electric 

motor

.

After prolonged operation (especially 
at speeds < 15,000 rpm) the efficiency 
is decreasing

Internal protective circuit reduces current consumption to protect the motor 
from overheating.
• Remove foot from foot switch for approx. 1 minute, allow motor to

cool down.

Full power is then restored.

Alternatively:

• Select a handpiece with reduction gear.
