Setting the software
Software version information
1. Open the software.
2. In the menu bar, select the command
"Settings"

"Configuration"

3. Select the desired milling unit.

"Configure"
button.

"Device Configuration"
window opens.
5. Activate the check mark in front of
"Manual Block Fixation"

Calibrating the milling unit
Calibration tools
1. In the menu line, select the command "Settings" / "Calibration" / "Milling
unit"

2. If several milling units are connected, a dialog box will appear. Select the
milling unit you prefer and confirm your choice with
"OK"

A dialog box then opens where you can select the bur set to be cali
-
brated or the two bur sets to be calibrated consecutively. The date of
the last calibration is also displayed.
NOTICE
Software version
Software version 3.60 or higher must be installed in order to use the manual
block clamp.
NOTICE
Pressure pieces remain installed
The pressure pieces of the old automatic block clamp will remain installed in
the unit.
CAUTION
Use only the supplied calibration tools
Use only the supplied calibration pins and the corresponding calibration
phantom when calibrating the milling unit.
CAUTION
Faulty milling result
If the unit is not calibrated, the milling result may be faulty.
