Mount the lens and the camera
This chapter provides instructions for mounting a lens onto the camera. It also explains how
to mount the camera on a wall or ceiling.

The BC840 supports C-mount and CS-mount lenses.
Mount a lens onto the BC840
To mount a lens onto the BC840 camera

Remove the CCD cover from the camera.

If you have a C-mount lens, attach the supplied C/CS mount adapter to the camera.

Screw the lens to the camera or to the adapter.

Check for proper back focus and adjust as necessary using the supplied back focus
adjuster.

Connect the lens connector to the DC Iris socket.
Align the nub on the lens connector with the indent in the DC Iris socket as highlighted
below.
