1. Ensure that the jack is placed on a level surface.
2. Lower the saddle to its lowest position (turn the handle anti-clockwise).
3. Loosen (do not remove) the 4 cap head bolts that hold the service cover on and
remove the cover.
4. Remove the oil filler bung from the oil reservoir.
5. Check the oil level; The level should be no more than 13mm from the top of the
reservoir - Top up with high quality hydraulic oil if required.
6. Refit the oil filler bung.
7. Wipe away any excess oil.
8. Fit the service cover and retighten the 4 cap head bolts.

MAINTENANCE
OIL CHANGE
For the best performance and longest life, completely change the oil at least once
per year. Always dispose of hydraulic oil in accordance with local regulations.
1. Lower the saddle to its lowest position (turn the handle anti-clockwise).
2. Loosen (do not remove) the 4 cap head bolts that hold the service cover on and
remove the cover.
3. Loosen and remove the cap head bolt that holds the oil reservoir in position (see
below, left).
4. Pull up and remove the oil reservoir.
5. Remove the oil filler bung and invert the reservoir over a suitable collection con-
tainer, so that the oil filler hole is at the bottom of the reservoir.
6. Press the oil valve whilst ensuring that you do not fully cover the hole (see below,
right).
Note:
Do not touch or use the handle when filling with oil.
