7. Bridge in
This RCA jack (7) receives the signal sent from the master amplifier when this
amplifier is used as slave. DO NOT use Input Jacks when the amplifier is used as
slave. All the level and functions will be adjusted along with the master amplifier.
8. Bridge out
This RCA (8) output signal to be sent to other SL-A1500 amplifiers in an bridged
configuration.
9. GAIN
This regulator (9) equalizes the sensitivity of the amplifier to match the radio-output
voltage. This regulator is not for volume adjustment! Use clear music and increase
the radio volume up to 75 %. Now turn the amplifier gain-regulator to the right until
the sound becomes unclear.
10. LOW PASS
Unwanted higher frequencies will be filtered with 12 db and the bass speaker will only
produce low frequencies and will sound clearer.
11. Subsonic frequency
This control (11) adjust the filter frequency under which the subsonic decreases
the volume. We suggest to set it at the lowest audible frequency of the speaker.
13. Bassboost
This control (13) can increase the volume from 0 to 12 dB wich you adjusted with
the control 12. Please be careful with the increase level not to damage your
speaker.
14. POWER-LED
The LED lights when the amplifier is switched on.
15. PROTECTION-LED
This LED lights up in case of any malfunction or internal damages. It also shows
if the amplifier is over-heat or low voltage protection is activated.
Note:
For double output power you can use 2 amplifiers in bridge mode. The impedance of
the speakers must not be lower than 2 ohms (see speaker connection drawing).
Attention:
All battery cables must have the same cooper diameter.
Do not connect to the slave amplifier RCA input (6) but only (7).
Allcontrols will be used at the master amplifier only.
Gain, LPF and remote control will be automatically deactivated at the slave
amplifier.
12. Bassboost frequency
This control (12) adjust the frequency which the bassboost (13) increases.
