Bedienung
Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an den Netzkabelanschluss -35- an.
Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem An/Aus-Schalter -36- ein, die
Betriebsanzeige -24- leuchtet.
Mono-Eingänge
Die Kanäle 1, 2, 3 und 4 sind Monokanäle und mit symmetrischen
Lineanschlüssen (6,3 mm Klinkebuchsen) -2- und Mikrofonanschlüssen
(XLR) -1- versehen. Mit den Trim-Reglern -3- regeln Sie den Pegel des
jeweiligen Mikrofoneingangs.
Mit dem Phantomeinspeisungsschalter -20- können Sie die 48 V
Phantomeinspeisung für Kondensator-Mikrofone einschalten.
Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem Anschluss, ob das Mikrofon, das Sie
anschließen, einer Phantomeinspeisung bedarf. Aktivieren Sie die
Phantomeinspeisung, leuchtet die Phantomeinspeisungsanzeige -23-
auf.
Mit dem Pan-Regler -14- (nur Mono-Kanäle) stellen Sie das
Kanalpanorama ein, d.h. Sie legen die Position des Signals innerhalb des
Stereofelds fest.
Bei Übersteuerung des Eingangssignals der Kanäle 1 und 2 leuchten die
Peak-LED-Anzeigen -27- auf.
Stereo-Eingänge
Die Kanäle 5-6 und 7-8 sind Stereo-Kanäle und mit symmetrischen Line-
Eingängen (6,3mm Klinkebuchsen) -4- versehen. Benutzt man nur die
linke Kanalbuchse an, arbeitet der Kanal mono.
Durch den Eingangswahlschalter -33- kann zwischen Line und USB
gewählt werden. Somit kann das Signal vom Computer in den
Sterereokanal 7/8 zu Monitorzwecken geroutet werden.
Mit dem Balance-Regler -15- regeln Sie den relativen Anteil zwischen
dem linken und rechten Eingangssignal.

Operation
Join the line cord with the Line Cord Connection -35-. Switch the
device on using the ON/OFF switch -36-; the Operation Display -24-
is on.
Mono Inputs
Channels 1, 2, 3 and 4 are mono channels which feature symmetrical
Line Connections (6.3 mm jack bushes) -2- and microphone connections
(XLR) -1-. Use the Trim controls -3- to regulate the level of the respective
MIC input.
Use the Phantom Feed Switch -20- to activate the 48 V phantom feed
for condenser microphones. Ensure before making the connection that
the microphone you are about to hook up requires a phantom feed.
Once the phantom feed is activated, the Phantom Feed Indicator -23- is
on.
Use the Pan control -14- (mono channels only) to set the channel
panorama, i.e. to set the signal's position within the stereo field.
In the event of overmodulation of the incoming signal on Channels 1 and
2, the Peak LED displays -27- illuminate.
Stereo Inputs
Channels 5-6 and 7-8 are stereo channels which feature symmetrical
Line Inputs (6.2 mm jack bushes) -4-. When using the left channel bush
only, the channel operates in mono mode.
Use the input selector -33- to select between Line and USB. This routes
the signal from the PC into the stereo channel 7/8 for monitoring
purposes.
Use the Balance Control -15- to regulate the relative share between the
left and right input signal.
