3. Do not use an extension power cord, unless it is 10A.
4. Do not add perfumed, vinegar or other chemical liquids into
the water tank; they can damage the appliance seriously.
5. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
6. Do not use the appliance when it is damaged or performs ab-
normally. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if
there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking. If the cord
or any other part is damaged, you must immediately stop the
use of the appliance and you should contact any Singer Ser-
vice Center.
7. Do not touch the soleplate during or just after ironing. It is hot!
8. Do not wrap the supply cord around the appliance or the sole-
plate for storage, until it has cooled down completely.
9. Do not attempt to open the appliance or dismantle any parts
from the appliance. You should contact any Singer Service
Center.
10. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the
present instruction manual will automatically release Singer
of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the ma-
chine or injuries to persons or animals.
11. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modi

cation of the
machine made by quali

ed persons or in case of improper
use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.
12. The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to
the supply mains.
13. The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the
water reservoir is

lled with water (for steam irons and irons
incorporating means for spraying water).
14. The

lling aperture must not be opened during use.
