FILLING WITH WATER
• Ensure the iron is disconnected from the power supply.
• Set the steam knob to the minimum position.
• Pull down the water
fi ll cover and fi ll the water tank with water.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
• * Synthetics/Silk
• ** Wool
• *** Cotton/Linen
– Stand the iron upright.
– Set temperature dial to ironing temperature.
– Insert the mains plug into the main supply.
– After the indicator light has gone out and come again, you may start ironing.
The indicator light will go out from time to time during ironing.
STEAM-IRONING
This function can be used only at higher ironing temperature.
●● for moderate steam
●●● or MAX for maximum steam
– Fill water into the iron as described above.
– Stand the iron upright.
– Connect the iron to a suitable mains supply outlet
– Turn the temperature control dial to the “
●● ”, “ ●●● ”or MAX setting
– The pilot light turns off when the required temperature is reached. The iron
is ready for use.
– Turn the steam control knob to the required position, steam starts coming
out from the holes in the sole plate.
Note: With conventional steam irons, water may leak from the soleplate if a
too low temperature has been select. If this happens, turn the temperature
control dial to the advised position. Steam will recommence as soon as the
appropriate temperature has been reached.
