IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
For safety purposes you should read these instructions carefully
before using the appliance for the

rst time. Save these instruc-
tions for future reference.
The appliance is designed for domestic and internal use
only and may only be operated in accordance with these
instructions of use.
The appliance generates high temperature steam. Always han-
dle with caution and warn other users of potential danger.
DO’S
1. Check that the mains voltage stated on the rating plate cor-
responds to the local electricity supply.
2. Place and use the appliance on a

at and steady surface.
3. Unwind and straighten the power cord and supply cord before
use.
4. Insert the anti-cal cartridge before use.
5. Keep the anti-cal cartridge and granules away from children
at all times.
6. Avoid the supply cord touch the soleplate.
7. Unplug the iron from the mains electrical supply before:

- Immediately after use
8. Never pull off the cable to disconnect it from the socket. In-
stead, unplug by pulling the plug from the socket.
9. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (includ-
ing children) with reduced physical or sensory capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the ap-
pliance by a person responsible for their safety.
10. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
