Dry Ironing
• Turn the iron on as described in the “Turning the Iron On and Off” section.
• To iron without steam, move the Steam Dial to the “no steam” position .
• Select the desired temperature (

• To iron garments with a dry iron, SINGER

recommends using this iron with
an empty water tank.
IRONING YOUR GARMENTS
Steam Ironing
• Fill the water tank as described in “Filling the Water Tank” section.
• To turn the iron on, plug the iron into a grounded electrical outlet. The green
Temperature Indicator Light will glow.
• Select the
or
MAX temperature setting by turning the Temperature
Control Dial clockwise. The Temperature Indicator Light will turn red when
heating.
• When the selected temperature is reached, Temperature Indicator light will
turn green.
• Move the Steam Dial to to activate the steam setting.
WARNING: NEVER IRON OR STEAM CLOTHES WHILE THEY ARE BEING
WORN. NEVER DIRECT THE STEAM JET AT PEOPLE OR ANIMALS.
