ANTI–CAL SYSTEM
The anti-cal cartridge will purify the water and remove the permanent and temporary hardness.
There are mix-bedded anti scale resins in the cartridge. Depending on the water hardness and
actual usage, the cartridge needs to be replaced from time to time.
With an average ironing of two hours per week, you will need to change the anti-scale cartridge
as indicated in the table below, according to the water hardness of your area:
If a new cartridge is unavailable, you may use distilled water -instead of tap water- and continue
operating the appliance.
DRAINING THE WATER
1. Disconnect the power cord from the mains supply outlet.
2. Slide out the water tank and remove the anti-cal cartridge as Fig.6.
3. Empty the water holding it upside down as Fig.7.
4. Replace the anti-cal cartridge and reinstall the water tank as Fig. 8.
