Knee operating presser foot lift

Bell cranks ‘

’ is fastened to the
underside of the bed, the bell crank

’ is used for lifting and lowering
the presser foot by the knee.
To raise or lower the presser foot by
the knee, loosen screw ‘

’ holding
the knee lifter shaft arm ‘

’, and
move the knee lifter shaft arm ‘

just under the bell crank ‘

’ and
firmly tighten screw ‘

’.
Loosen the lock nut holding screw

’ and turn screw ‘

that the bent end ‘
