CAUTION!
The appliance’s power cord must be connect-
ed to a properly grounded and protected 120VAC outlet.
Always use ground fault protection where required by the
electrical code.

Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged or has mal-
functioned. If you suspect the appliance is damaged, call
a qualified service technician to inspect and replace any
part of the electrical system if necessary.
A. Manual Controls
The appliance can be operated by both remote control
and touch control buttons. Once the appliance has been
properly connected to a grounded electrical outlet, turn
on the power button located on the upper right side of
the appliance. A beep should be heard when the power
is first applied. See Figure 5.1.
Power Button
The Power button turns the power of the appliance on or
off.
Flame Button
By pressing the FLAME button, the appliance will cycle
through four flame effects.
Heater Button
The HEATER button will cycle from low to high to off
settings.
Fuel Bed LED Light Button
The Fuel Bed LED light button will turn on the LED lights
and cycle through 14 color themes (13 colors and a
color rotating option).
Accent Light Button
The Accent light button will turn on the LED Accent
lights, located on the Mantel, and cycle through 14 color
themes (13 colors and a color rotating option).
