Your Simplicity remote control is simple to program, easy to use, and can operate two (2) devices, which include:
Cable set-top terminals,
Televisions.
Before you can use your remote control, it must be programmed (set-up) to operate the above devices.
Follow the instructions in Sections 3 and 4 below to program your Cable & TV devices.
lnstall two (2) new «AA» batteries as indicated by the diagram in the battery compartment.
When the indicator light becomes dim or no longer illuminates during use, install two (2) new «AA» size batteries.
Your remote control has Memory Guard, which eliminates reprogramming after battery changes.
Your Simplicity remote control supports the newest set-top terminals from your Cable TV provider, but may come pre-programmed
to a specific brand. To program your remote to operate your Cable set-top terminal, look up the brand and model in the Cable
Setup Code list. If you are not sure of your brand and model, contact your Cable TV provider.
Programming your terminal
1. Press SEL/OK, then MUTE buttons together until the indicator light illuminates.
2. From the Cable Setup Code list, locale and enter the 4-digit code for your brand and model.
3. Press SEL/OK to lock in code. The indicator light will blink and go out. Write your CABLE setup code: _______________.
