Initial Assembly
Assemble Ladder Hitch
1. Attach the hanger brackets (A, FIgure 17) using 5/16-
18 x 1” capscrews and nylock nuts (B). Do not
torque the nuts. The hanger brackets (A) should be
able to pivot freely.
2. Attach the lift rod (C, Figure 17) to the hitch lift arm
(D) using one 1/2” x 2” flat head clevis pin and safety
clip (E).

Attach Snowthrower Hitch To Snowthrower
1 Attach the snowthrower hitch to the snowthrower and
secure with four 7/16-14 x 1” capscrews and flange
nuts & two 3/8-16 x 1 capscrews and flange nuts.
See Figure 18 for hardware locations.
Attach Deflector Control Cable Support Arm
1. Assemble the deflector control cable support arm (A,
Figure 19) to the left side of the snowthrower using
one 5/16-18 x 1” capscrew, lockwasher, and nut
using the holes (D) shown in Figure 18.
Attach Snowthrower Lift Arm
1. See Figure 20. Assemble the snowthrower lift arm
(A) to the snowthrower hitch (B) using two 1/2-13 x 1-
3/4” capscrews, lockwashers, and nuts. Insert the
capscrews from left to right in the holes shown.
