Software requirements
The Class A Adapter must be used with ES Panel FACP System Firmware version 1.04 or later. Consult the ES Panel Programmer’s Manual (574-849) for
more information.
Programming the Class A Adapter
Programming the Class A Adapter is done through the EPS “Point Editing” tab and consists of ensuring that the Class A wiring mode set on the
Class A Adapter corresponds to the settings in the ES Programmer.
To program the Class A Adapter card:
1.
Open or create a job in the ES Programmer.
2.
Open the Hardware Tab.
3.
Double click on the Icon of the EPS module that the Class A Adapter’s 4009 IDNAC Repeater is installed on to open the “Properties” window.
4.
Open the “Point Editing” tab.
5.
Select the Repeater in the “Select Device” drop down menu.
6.
Go to the “Repeater Operation” drop down menu and select the setting that represents the jumper configuration on the Class A Adapter Card.
