2 Appropriate use
The SREL2.COVER1 is a vandalism protection housing. This allows you
to use your device outdoors and protect it from mechanical or weather-
related damage.
The following devices are compatible:
 SREL2 in white design housing (SREL2.W)
 External card reader for SREL2 (SC.M.E.G2.W(.WP))
 Reader for SREL3 (SREL3.EXT...)
3 Scope of delivery

1× vandalism protection housing, consisting of base plate, frame and
cover

2× safety screw with SP4 two-hole drive (pre-assembled)

1× SP4 two-hole screw bit

2× A2 hexagon socket head screw (DIN 912 M4x8 mm, SW3, pre-
assembled)

3× A2 half-round head screw (DIN 7996 5x50 mm, PZ2)

3× dowels (Fischer SX8)
4 Assembly/disassembly
1. Remove the cover of the vandalism protection housing.
