III. Lifting:
1. Position the jack under the object to be raised so that the lifting foot is in the centre of the
object and ensure that it cannot slip.
2. Close the lowering valve by turning it in a clockwise direction.
3. Place the pump lever in the aperture provided and move the lever up and down until the
required height has been reached.
IV. Lowering:
1. Remove the pump lever from the aperture and fit it on to the lowering valve.
2. Now open the lowering valve by turning it slowly in a counter-clockwise direction. The
unit will now be lowered. Avoid rapid lowering of the load by opening the valve too fast.
V.
Topping up with oil:
If the item can’t be pumped up to its rated highest position, you may have to add hydraulic
oil into the oil tank. The hydraulic fluid to be used must have a quality of ISO VG22 or
equivalence, its viscosity should be 1,5 – 3,5. Mixing of different fluids is prohibited!
