Unpacking & Assembling Your

Pressure Washer

• If any parts are damaged or missing, have these parts repaired or
replaced before assembling or using this product
• Do not connect the pressure washer to the water, or electrical supply
until fully assembled and ready for use
• Remove all packaging materials from the product

Lance Assembly

1. Attach Lance (5) by inserting into bayonet socket of Handle (8) and
    locking together
2. Attach small end of High Pressure Hose (11) to brass threads on handle
as shown in the diagram. Tighten with a 17mm spanner
3. Uncoil the rest of the high pressure hose, being careful not to damage
hose if tape has to be cut to remove
4. Screw the large end of the high pressure hose on to the High Pressure
Outlet (13) and tighten by hand only

Connecting to Water Supply

1. Ensure the water supply is turned off
2. Screw the orange plastic hose quick connector on to the Water Inlet (1)
    and tighten by hand
3. Connect the hose. You will hear a click when the two parts connect.
Check the connection by lightly tugging on the hose
NOTE: It is recommended a backflow preventer or non-return valve (not
supplied) is fitted between the pressure washer hose and the tap to
prevent a backflow contaminating your water supply, especially if you are
using detergent with your pressure washer.

Operating The Pressure Washer

1. Check that the On/Off Switch (12) is set to “O” – Off position
2. Turn on water supply
3. Check the water supply connections, and make sure there are no leaks
    Fix any leaks before proceeding
4. Untie the mains lead and fully extend. Plug in to an appropriate mains}
    socket
5. Switch on by turning On/Off Switch (12) to “I”
6. Hold the assembled lance firmly with both hands
7. Point away from any person or object and disengage the Safety Lock Off}
    Device (10)
8. Squeeze the Trigger (9) fully
9. To stop the pressure washer, release the Trigger (9)
NOTE: On first use the water will not flow evenly. There will be air in the
hose and pipes, which will clear after a few minutes’ use
•  When not in use, engage the Safety Lock Off device (10) so that the
  trigger (9) cannot be depressed
•  The spray pattern can be adjusted by holding the Lance (5) and turning
  the Nozzle (4)
•  The Detergent Bottle (7) can be attached instead of the lance by inserting
the bayonet fitting of the detergent bottle into the lance bayonet socket
  and locking together
•  Fill the detergent bottle with standard pressure washer detergent or
 similar
•  If possible only use detergent when necessary, for example on tough
stains or for killing mould and mildew
•  It is possible the pressure washer will be effective without detergent,
  depending on the nozzle setting
