4.4 Protection against injury

to trip over or to get caught up in or step

injured as a result. Please therefore
observe the following:
• This product may only be used under
adult supervision to ensure that children
do not play with the appliance.
• Always take care to ensure the
appliance is kept out of the reach of
children at all times.
• Ensure that the packing foil does not
become a deadly trap for a child.
Packing foils are not toys.
5. Unpack and set up
5.1 Assemble appliance
Before the appliance can be started up,

1. Take the appliance out of the
packaging.
2. Remove the transport packaging.
3. Check that the appliance has not
sustained any damage.

5. Use screw ring

– On delivery, screw ring

onto the bottom of the tower fan.
– Ensure that power supply cable

located in the depression provided for it.
– Tighten screw ring

hand-tight. Do
not use a tool.
6. Select a location in line with the safety
instructions (see “4. Safety instructions”
on page 4).
7. Plug the power plug into a power supply
socket which meets the technical data
requirements.
