Please make sure that the outside of the inner pot (12) is dry and clean and that the inner pot
(12) is not tilted or crooked when you insert it. If not, the safety switch will be triggered and
the rice cooker will no longer switch on.

Add the water to the inner pot (12). You can use the tables below as a general guide on
how much water to add.

Do not overfill the streamer basket (1). Make sure that the food you are steaming
does not extend above the top edge of the streamer basket (1).
To obtain consistent results, cut the vegetables to a small, uniform size or break the
broccoli or cauliflower up into florets.

Add the food you are steaming to the steamer basket (1).
•
Place the steamer basket (1) in the inner pot (12) and close the lid.
•
Insert the plug (5) to the power cord inlet (8) and plug the power cord into the socket.
•
Use the ON/OFF switch (10)
to switch the rice cooker on.
•
The yellow LED (6) lights up.
•
Press the function selector (7) down. The yellow LED (6) switches off and the red LED (9)
switches on. The steaming programme has begun.
•
Push the function selector (7) up when the required steaming time is up. The red LED (9)
switches off and the yellow LED (6) switches on.
Please note:
If you do not manually switch off the steaming programme when the set time
is up, it will continue until all the water in the inner pot (12) has boiled away. As a result,
your food may be overcooked.

Use the ON/OFF switch (10) to turn the rice cooker off, open the lid and remove the
steamed food.
