7.2.2. Styling hair
If you wish to use the hair straightener as a curling iron, proceed as follows:

Pick up approximately 2 cm-wide sections of hair with two
fingers from your free hand.

Clamp the sections of hair between the plates (5).

Now twist the hair straightener by around 90°.

Now wrap the sections of hair around the plate in the same
direction in which you just twisted the hair straightener in
order tocreate a loop.

Then glide the straightener down to the ends of your hair.
Keep pulling the sections of hair taught to ensure that the
hair is in continuous contact with the hair straightener and
that it can properly absorb the heat.

Repeat the process with additional sections of hair to create
more curls.
The tightness of the curls will depend upon the speed with which you glide the hair straightener
down towards the ends of your hair. The slower the motion, the tighter the curls.
