CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!

If the deep-frying basket

9

 acci-

dentally becomes loose it can
cause injuries due to burning.
Therefore when shaking, keep
the protective fl ap

8

 pressed

down with your thumb in order
to avoid accidentally pressing
the release button

7

.

Tip:

To reduce the weight, you can remove the

deep-frying basket

9

 from the deep-frying pan

5

and just shake the deep-frying basket

9

To do this, pull the deep-frying pan

5

 out of

the product, place it on a heat-resistant surface
and press the release button

7

. Then take

the deep-frying basket

9

 out of the deep-frying

pan

5

. Carefully shake the food 2–3 times

and slide the deep-frying pan

5

, including the

correctly inserted deep-frying basket

9

, back

into the product.

Tip:

If you set the timer to half of the prepara-

tion time, a signal tone sounds when you need
to shake the food. This however means that you
will have to reset the timer for the remaining
preparation time after shaking.

When the signal tone of the timer sounds, the set

preparation time has elapsed. Pull the deep-fry-
ing pan

5

out of the product and place it on

a heat-resistant surface.

Note:

You can also switch off  the product

manually. To do so, set the cooking time knob

2

 to 0.

Check that the food is cooked. If this is not the

case, slide the deep-frying pan

5

 back into the

product and set the timer for a few additional
minutes.

   Pull the deep-frying pan

5

 out of the product by

the handle

6

. Place the deep-frying pan

5

onto a heat-resistant base and remove the deep-
frying basket

9

by fl ipping up the protective

fl ap

8

 and pressing the release button

7

.

Note:

Do not turn the deep-frying basket

9

upside down if it is still fi xed into the deep-frying

pan

5

as the oil collected at the bottom of the

deep-frying pan

5

 may leak onto the food.

Note:

The air fryer, the deep-frying pan

5

and the food are hot. Depending on the type
of food in the air fryer, steam may escape from
the deep-frying pan

5

Unplug the mains cable with the mains plug

13

from the mains socket.

Instructions for use

Note:

The Rapid Air technology immediately heats

up the air in the product again. If the deep-frying
pan

5

is removed from the product for a short time

during cooking, the process is barely interrupted.

The following information will give you
a few tips so that you can achieve an op-
timal frying result. Please be aware that
the information contained in these tips is
only intended as a recommendation. In-
gredients may differ in their origin, size,
shape and brand. Optimal, authoritative
instructions for settings and operation
cannot be guaranteed.

·  Smaller foods usually require shorter preparation

times than large foods.

·  A larger quantity of food requires a slightly longer

preparation time, a smaller quantity of food a slightly
shorter preparation time.

·  Use the temperature settings under 150 °C to e.g.

warm up bread rolls or meals.

·  During the preparation time, food in the deep fry-

ing basket

9

should be shaken at least 2–3 times

at regular intervals to optimise the fi nal result and
to prevent unevenly fried food.

·  When cooking potatoes, for a crispy result add

some oil (max. 1 tbsp.) after half of the cooking
time has elapsed. Continue frying after adding
the oil.

·  Do not prepare extremely fatty foods in the air

fryer.

·  Snacks that can be prepared in an oven can also

be prepared in the air fryer.
