folded out while reading further sections of these instructions. Thus you always

Prior to use
Charging the battery
Before using the device for the first time or when the built-in battery is empty,
you charge it as follows:

Connect the supplied USB charging cable (B) to the USB charging port (7)
and a free USB port of your computer when it is switched on or a USB
power supply (not supplied).

The LED (8) lights up orange while charging. When the battery is fully
charged, the LED (8) lights up blue.
When the battery charge is low, the LED (8) flashes orange once every 20
seconds, and 4 beeps sound at the same time.
Please note that the battery only reaches full capacity after 4-5
full charge/discharge cycles.
